FILM

"Fifteen-year-old Oliver Tate has two big ambitions: to save his parents' marriage via carefully plotted intervention and to lose his virginity before his next birthday. Worried that his mom is having an affair with New Age weirdo Graham, Oliver monitors his parents' sex life by charting the dimmer switch in their bedroom. He also forges suggestive love letters from his mom to dad. Meanwhile, Oliver attempts to woo his classmate, Jordana, a self-professed pyromaniac who supervises his journal"

The amount of times I've encountered screenshots and GIFs from this film on tumblr is enough to capture my attention. I consider myself a cinephile so I tend to be biased when it comes to reviewing films. I appreciate even the most horrible movies you could ever imagine. Fortunately, with the movie Submarine I didn't feel the need to be biased in terms of judging it. The critically acclaimed film captured my emotions. I love the cinematography. EVERYTHING. And if I ever get the chance to have my own room, it'd probably look like Oliver's. Also, at some point, I can see myself very much to Oliver Tate.
If you're looking for a film that is new and refreshing, inspiring, and funny then you definitely have to watch Submarine(!).
Bonus: It's OST is a must listen.
