The Sunday Currently
Reading Submarine by Joe Dunthorne
Listening to my neighborhood's music which, let me telly you, is really, really bad.
Thinking about how I could save money for future concerts and Christmas bazaars
Smelling the pancit canton I cooked for 3 minutes and ate for 2 minutes. Yup.
Wishing for an adventure. Preferably an out of the country trip with my friends.
Hoping I get my first paycheck before Christmas.
Wearing a Zara top I got from my aunt five years ago.
Loving the cozy weather.
Wanting clothes from Urban Outfitters and a penny board.
Needing money.
Feeling a little bit sad and nostalgic.
Clicking some cool blogs I found all over the webz~

Dark Blue
It's been raining for the past few days which resulted to four days of class suspension. Days were spent mostly just by sleeping all day on my bed. The whole place is flooded and most of the food stores are either closed/cannot deliver food in our area so you could just imagine the amount of unhealthy food I've consumed the past few days. It's quite alarming but there's no signs of kidney failure yet (god forbid). It's nice to get a rest from school considering that we just had our examination but not being able to go out for four days is no fun either. Albeit I enjoy listening to the sound of rain and watching it, I also kind of miss waking up to the golden rays of sunlight peeking through my window.

Something Good Can Work
Tried Subway for the first time. Definitely 10/10.
Saw this old woman sitting n the sidewalk, arranging the bottles she'd gathered. That was me handing her my drink.
*sigh*
(outfit: bart simpsons top and skirt both from romwe, converse)

- Compliment other people genuinely whenever you can and as much as you can.
- Accept the fact that not everyone is like you. Learn to accept their flaws just as much as they accept yours.
- You may be nowhere near clingy nor affectionate but it wouldn't hurt to give a hug sometimes.
- Listen and appreciate.
- Try to mingle with other people sometimes. You may be an introvert but think of this as a source of knowledge and experience. Learn from their stories
- Accept compliments. Say thank you instead of denying/neglecting it. Boost your self-esteem.
- Learn from your mistakes.
- Breath.
- Do the things that you love and never stop doing them.
- Appreciate the love that you get from your family.
- Connect with your friends. Make them feel appreciated.
- Read books as much as you can.
- Kill all the negativity that surrounds you with your positive views.
- Live.

I’m scared I’m gonna die as lonely as I feel right now
Lately, I've been feeling so alone. It's just really hard to keep up with people sometimes. My introversion seems to be a big factor as to why I'm feeling like this. And having extrovert friends is not making it any easier. I feel like I have to talk all the time so I wouldn't feel like I am such an asshole or a grumpy bitch. It's also hard for me when my friends have "other" friends" (e.g. internet friends). Suddenly I am out of the page. It's really hard. I don't mind them being associated with other people and all but it gets lonely sometimes. Like, they have this other dimension and I'm not part of it.

This is what happens when the camera is on fisheye mode mygod |
I was lucky enough to not have a homework that day so I was able to hang out with my friends. We went to Cubao to roam around and eat. We tried this "fancy" pastry store TOUS LES JOURS. We were just in time for their buy one, take one hour so I was able to try two pastries--Sweet Potato Pie and Apple Pie. A must try!! I wish I could go back there soon. Better days and lesser readings and homework, please!

FILM
"Fifteen-year-old Oliver Tate has two big ambitions: to save his parents' marriage via carefully plotted intervention and to lose his virginity before his next birthday. Worried that his mom is having an affair with New Age weirdo Graham, Oliver monitors his parents' sex life by charting the dimmer switch in their bedroom. He also forges suggestive love letters from his mom to dad. Meanwhile, Oliver attempts to woo his classmate, Jordana, a self-professed pyromaniac who supervises his journal"
The amount of times I've encountered screenshots and GIFs from this film on tumblr is enough to capture my attention. I consider myself a cinephile so I tend to be biased when it comes to reviewing films. I appreciate even the most horrible movies you could ever imagine. Fortunately, with the movie Submarine I didn't feel the need to be biased in terms of judging it. The critically acclaimed film captured my emotions. I love the cinematography. EVERYTHING. And if I ever get the chance to have my own room, it'd probably look like Oliver's. Also, at some point, I can see myself very much to Oliver Tate.
If you're looking for a film that is new and refreshing, inspiring, and funny then you definitely have to watch Submarine(!).
Bonus: It's OST is a must listen.

On and on, on and on when will it stop
This post has been made as a reminder that I am still alive. University life is extremely exhausting. I have to wake up at 6 am everyday. For a nocturnal like me, it's really hard to adjust. I can't even remember the last time I had a decent sleep. But despite all this, I'm trying my best to participate and enjoy the uni life. We just recently had our Recruit 101. It's an event where students are free to join various types of organizations in our university. I joined TOMASINOWEB (an org that involves photography, web designing, graphic designing, etc.) and Mountaineering Club. I'm also planning to take blogging seriously (let's just all hope I don't drown on my homework and paper works) hence, a new post for all of you every Wednesday and Saturday.
Have a lovely Sunday!
